"This pedal has quickly become one of the
most useful things I own - the combination of functionality
and simplicity is absolutely nailed here. It's so
handy it gets used on virtually anything, a box that's
always in use so never gets put away. It might be
a terrifying thought, but I firmly believe the Hard
On will outlive us all."

"I just received the translator
and put it through some test through the brightest
pre (sytek) and mic (blue dragonfly) that i own. I
love this thing. Its a wonderful mellowing agent.
I'll post a review on gearslutz after i play with
it for a while and through other mics and pres. I'm
impressed. The device is very cool and a very inexpensive
way of providing character and creating new sounds
out of your mic and mic pre collection but i think
that understates what it does. It adds extra girth
and rounding as well as its another transformer in
your signal path and that has enormous value to people
who like that sort of thing, like me. It adds value
to colored mic pres as well."

"Hi Rob, I just got the Passive
Link a couple of hours ago in perfect shape. I
plugged it from my MOTU 896HD, to a 50 Watt Marshall
JCM800 combo, hit play and wow, AMAZING. Great sound,
total control. Thank you for making this great product,
you just saved us a lot of pain and totally changed
the way we record guitars, bass, and we'll see
what else."

"The equipment
we have bought from Broadcast has been in A1 condition
and continues to perform brilliantly. The Passive
Link in particular has been invaluable on sessions
and the Hard On has also been a popular switch with
our clients."

" The Passive Link is a valuable piece of kit to
me as I like to run/ re-amp all sorts of things like
drums, bass, guitars, vocals and anything the imagination
permits really, clean, distorted, room. Has saved
my ass a couple of times now and is well worth the
money. Previously I used a "Tandy" passive
line transformer in reverse and the results were very
average to say the least compared to the Passive Link.
It has a special place on my console in the ready
for the next job it can perform and there are many
options when you own one. Pick a room, pick an amp
and select your settings the choices are all yours.
Once again Rob Thank You very much this is a great
piece of kit."

"I have a reamping device that
I paid 4 times as much for, that isn't as useful as
this incredible little green gizmo. The tone knob
is genius. Built tank tough, and sounds beautiful.
Thank you so much!"

"we use your passive
link on stage for the keyboard player he use a lot
of pedal effect thrut a makie mixer and he send everything
on 2 twin amp and before we receive your passive link
it was the nightmare having the good impedance from
the output of the mixer in the twin so the amp was
working at volume 2 with a shit sound and a buss and
no we can go up 8 and we don't have any buss we have
only a fucking good sound .
so after this result we have speak with the guitare
player and he test it on his fender amp at the end
of the chain ouput of all is effect pedals into the
amp .and it's very very nice too . he can plugg 1
or 2 pedal or 3 and no probleme to calibrate every
sound . it's more easy now?
so thank you very much Rob you save our life .
we are now happy guy .
i hope you understand my bad english but for the gtr?
it' s work fucking good just beetween the end of the
pedal effect and the input gtr amp , we use an adaptor
XLR / jack Asymetrique and it's perfect"

" The Missing Link has been an excellent addition
to my kit. Using my stomp boxes as outboard effects
has really inspired some great sounds and has been
my secret weapon on a recent film project. Kudos to
Rob...."

"A lot of the gear in my studio has one of
Rob's stickers on it somewhere....most of my compressors,
preamps, microphones and EQ's have travelled across
his workbench....the Broadcast-racked Auditronics
strips are gorgeous, and my revamped V76 is a total
work of art....but his very own Passive Link is one
of my favourite toys.....I don't know how I ever got
by without it before....If you're into re-amping,
and you don't have one of these, then you need to
get one!"

"One of the most useful bits of kit I've bought recently is the Broadcast
Passive Link. It's great for re-miking recorded tracks,
mostly electric guitars, sometimes keys. When you're
working on your own it takes five times as long to
get a good ambient recording, for example, of an electric
guitar. If I already have a good DI recording I can
run a line out of 'Tools' into the Passive Link. which
delivers line level input into an amplifier - two
channels if I need it. It also has a volume and tone
control which makes it just that little bit sweeter
to drive an amp just right."

"Hi Rob, I just wanted to get back to you re: the summing mixer. Thanks
very much, all arrived OK. I'm going through one of
Joe Malone's dual 99V's to bring the level back up.
It's a definite improvement summing outside the box.
It's not a"night and day" type difference,
(I wasn't expecting it to be), but a definite improvement.
Bass especially is just more cohesive/solid and the
stereo field widens too. Pretty cool and worth the
price for sure. Joe's preamps make a real difference
for the better too! My current client ... is very
happy as well."
